Le Jardin Secret Marrakech — The Hidden Garden That Hides a View You’ll Never Forget

Turtle pond with stone island inside Le Jardin Secret historic garden in Marrakech Medina

In the heart of the Medina, behind walls that reveal nothing from the outside, lies a place most visitors walk past without ever knowing it exists.

Le Jardin Secret — The Secret Garden — a name that describes it perfectly.

What Is Le Jardin Secret?

A historic garden tucked inside the old Medina of Marrakech, bringing together two completely different worlds within the same walls. I walked in with no particular expectations — and walked out with a view that’s still with me.

What Will You Find Inside?

The garden is divided into two distinct sections:

🌍 The Exotic Garden — First Section
Plants and trees gathered from around the world, arranged in a carefully designed space. Each plant has its story, every corner is intentional. Smaller in size but incredibly rich and visually dense.

🌿 The Islamic Garden — Second Section
Larger in size, filled with local trees and plants arranged in the traditional Islamic garden style. Calm, shaded, and genuinely restful.

🏠 The Rooftop
Overlooks both gardens completely and gives you a beautiful panoramic view — included with your entry ticket at no extra cost.

The Tower — The Thing You Will Not Forget

There’s an optional add-on for 40 MAD extra: the watchtower.

And I’ll tell you honestly — those 40 MAD are the best money you’ll spend in Marrakech.

From the top you get:

  • The High Atlas Mountains with their snow-capped peaks filling the horizon
  • The Small Atlas completing the picture from the other side
  • The entire Medina spread out beneath your feet

An exceptional view in every sense of the word. Do not enter this garden and skip the tower.
